Position Description
As a web designer at Apprise Software, you will be a critical member of the marketing team working to help develop our brand recognition worldwide as we continue to grow and evolve. This is a technical position that will provide a chance to fuse programming, graphic design, and marketing skillsets together. You would be responsible for maintaining and updating existing content, as well as adding content as we increase our global presence. Additionally you would be responsible for increasing the visibility of the website, through means such as search engine optimization and bringing fresh ideas to the table.Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field is required. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, a team player, and take exceptional pride in the quality of his or her work. Additionally candidates should possess the following skills:• Broad knowledge of current web technologies.
• Proficient in CSS, HTML, JavaScript.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash, or similar tools
• Must be willing to learn new technologies as needed
• Familiarity with search engine optimization is a plus, but not required
• Ability to multitask, and work on multiple projects concurrently
Portfolio/work samples are a plus, but not required.
